The GENERAL Group has formulated its Environmental Action Plan Stage X to work on over the next three years from FY2023 to FY2025. This plan aims to reach the Group’s mid-term environmental target by FY2035.
The new plan was re-created with a focus on the following two elements. The first is the four pillars of "Responding to Climate Change," "Resources Circulation," "Chemical Substance Management," and "Contribution to Environmental Society" from its Environmental Action Plans Stage VIII (FY2016 to FY2018) and Stage IX (FY2019 to FY2022). The second is the three pillars of " Harmonious Coexistence with Our Planet (Planet)," " Social Contribution (Society)," and " Care for Employees (Our People)" formulated in March 2021 as the key themes of its sustainable management. We will contribute to realizing a sustainable society through our efforts and commitment to "Carbon Neutrality," "Recycling-oriented Society," and "Living in Harmony with Nature."
